If you see a website called "Soap2Day," be careful before clicking. Soap2Day was a free movie and TV streaming site. On June 13, 2023, Soap2Day officially closed down. You can no longer access the original Soap2Day website, but many other websites have cropped up with the name "Soap2Day." This is one Soap2Day copycat site that is safe to use, as of the writing of this article. However, always be cautious before clicking on links.

Avoid clicking ads on any Soap2Day copycat sites. Most of these websites aren't inherently dangerous, but contain many ads (both pop-ups and banner ads) that may install viruses on your computer. These ads can be difficult to close out of, and you may accidentally click on them, thus infecting your computer. While uncommon, getting a virus or malware by simply visiting a website is possible. If you don't trust a website, it's safest not to click it. If you want to tell if a URL is safe to click, there are a few URL checkers online you can use (such as this one by VirusTotal or this one from Google). However, hackers know how to get around these types of URL checkers, so they may not accurately catch every malicious URL. The safest way to check a URL is to use a virtual machine, but setting one up takes time, money, and a little know-how and may be excessive for only checking if a Soap2Day copycat site is safe.

Soap2Day Alternatives

YTS. YTS.rs is a popular movie torrenting site, but you can also now stream movies directly on the YTS website. You can find recent releases, old classics, B-movies, holiday movies, and more on this site. Note that streaming movies on YTS isn't illegal in the United States, but downloading movies is. If you want to torrent movies on YTS, know the risks.

Goojara. Goojara.to is another streaming site with many movies and TV shows available to stream. You can find new and old movies on this site (much like YTS), but Goojara also offers TV shows.

FMovies. FMoviesz.to is similar to Goojara and YTS, but if you're having trouble finding what you want to watch on either of those sites, FMovies may have it. Much like the previous suggestions, you can find movies and TV shows, both new and old, on this streaming site.

BrokenSilenze. BrokenSilenze.net advertises itself as having "urban entertainment" and has several popular TV shows available to stream, such as Love & Hip Hop, Ruthless, RuPaul's Drag Race, and more.

Tubi TV. Tubi TV is a legit free streaming service—that is, the movies and TV shows on the site aren't pirated. While it has less of a selection compared to the above sources, you can still find some good movies and TV shows to watch in Tubi's library, especially if you want to watch something a little bit older. And, unlike other legit streaming services, you don't need to sign up to start watching.

Pluto TV. Pluto TV is another free streaming service offering movies and TV. Pluto has both live TV (with an on-screen TV guide that has a timetable) and on-demand movies and TV shows. Pluto TV also has a library of anime series, music videos, and Spanish content. Like Tubi TV, Pluto TV doesn't require registration to start viewing.
