This wikiHow teaches you how to enable restricted mode for your YouTube Music account, using an iPhone or iPad. Restricted mode will automatically filter inappropriate content, and help you avoid explicit lyrics.
Open YT Music on your iPhone or iPad. The YouTube Music app looks like a white play button in a red circle.
Tap your profile picture on the top-right. You'll see a thumbnail of your avatar in the upper-right corner. It will open a navigation menu.
Tap Settings on the menu. This will open your Settings menu on a new page.
Slide the Restricted mode switch to the On position. The switch will turn red. When this option is enabled, inappropriate content will be automatically filtered out from your personal feed. Filtered songs will disappear from albums and playlists.
