Nandamuri Balakrishna essayed dual roles in this film starring Shruti Haasan as the female lead. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, Veera Simha Reddy was produced by Mythri Movie Makers, on an enormous budget. The first-day collection of this film globally was Rs 23.35 crore.

Akhanda (December 2, 2021)

Akhanda, directed by Boyapati Srinu, starred Nandamuri Balakrishna in a dual role. Pragya Jaiswal played the heroine while Jagapathi Babu, Meka Srikanth, Shamna Kasim, and others also played key roles. S Thaman composed the music for Akhanda which collected Rs 15.39 crore globally on the first day.

Jai Simha, directed by KS Ravikumar, starred Nandamuri Balakrishna as the hero. It failed to entertain the audience in terms of an engaging storyline and collected only Rs 4.25 crore worldwide on its first day at the box office.

NTR: Kathanayakudu (January 9, 2019)

Directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, NTR Kathanayakudu was produced on a budget of Rs 50 crore. This film was special for the veteran actor as it was based on the acting stalwart and his father Late Nandamuri Tarakka Rama Rao (NTR). It only collected Rs 7.6 crore globally at the box office on Day 1.

NTR: Mahanayakudu (February 22, 2019)

This film was the sequel to NTR Kathanayakudu and was produced on a budget of Rs 30 crore. It could, however, only manage to rake in Rs 2.12 crore at the global box office on the first day of its release. In Balayya’s (Nandamuri Balakrishna) career, this film made a record for the lowest-grossing film.
