Many people around the world suffer with the condition of insomnia, a disorder in which a person is unable to get sleep. They might have to resort to sleeping pills to get some sleep. According to reports, there is a woman in Baireddipalle of Andhra Pradesh, who suffered from this condition, but she was able to cure it eventually. Wondering how? Read on to know more.

The woman, named Usha, had the condition which was proving to be a big hindrance in her life. According to reports, she had been suffering from it for years. She went to a lot of hospitals but nothing was able to cure her condition.

For a long time, the woman took sleeping pills too. But Usha was able to find relief from her problem, thanks to her tenant Pantulamma. Usha shared her problem with him, who had come to collect the rent.

As per reports, the tenant advised her to do meditation to combat her problem of insomnia. Talking to News18, Usha said that she was advised to meditate in the morning, and in the evening. So, she went to Ramana Revathi, a meditation teacher.

According to her, on the first day, she faced problems sitting for an hour straight and found meditation to be difficult. But Usha did not give up and day by day, she got better. Finally, she developed a habit of meditating and even stopped taking the sleeping pills.

After successfully learning meditation, she taught her children to do the same. Now, they have also incorporated the practice into their lifestyles. Now, Usha thinks that instead of wasting time in hospitals, one should just try meditation if they are suffering from any mental illness.
