Mrunal ticks all the boxes correctly when it comes to her fashion sense as well. She recently treated fans with some beautiful photos. The Love Sonia actress looked gorgeous in an off-shoulder black flared gown. She opted for minimalistic makeup and accessorised her outfit with a necklace. Her photos added vintage camera roll filters, thereby exuding an old world charm to her post. In one of the photos, Mrunal can be seen giving behind-the-scenes glimpses of the photoshoot — where she can be seen getting her makeup done.

Mrunal Thakur wrote in the caption, “Soaring into the promotional adventure for #Pippa like never before! 2 days until you get swept off your feet by #Pippa.” Pippa is Mrunal’s upcoming film and is set against the 1971 India-Pakistan war. It is based on Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta’s book titled The Burning Chaffees. Pippa will be released on the OTT platform Amazon Prime tomorrow on November 10.

Fans were left swooning over Mrunal’s pictures. “Looking like a princess”, wrote one of the fans. Others dropped in heart emoticons in the comment section. Actor Priyanshu Painyuli, Mrunal’s colleague in Pippa, wrote,”Radha.” For those who don’t know, Radha Mehta is the name of Mrunal’s character in Pippa. She will play the role of Brigadier Balram Singh Mehta (Ishaan Khattar)’s sister Radha Mehta.

Mrunal had to endure criticism for playing the role of Ishaan’s sister. She revealed this in an interview with the entertainment portal Filme Shilmy. She said, “A lot of people criticised me for saying that hey, you are playing Ishaan’s sister [in Pippa]. Nobody, in future, would cast you as Ishaan’s love interest. I want to break that stereotype … I do not worry if people are going to like it or not like it. If they like it great, if they don’t like it, they should share their feedback with me so I can implement it the next time I work on the character.”

Inaamulhaq, Sandesh Bhandari, Amit Ghosh, Suryansh Patel and others have also acted in Pippa directed by Raja Menon. RSVP, RSVP Movies and Roy Kapur Films have produced Pippa.
