Roja Selvamani Inaugurates Hyderabad Restaurant, Talks About Culinary Picks
Roja extended her best wishes to Sreevani and her husband Vikramadhithya Reddy for their business venture.

Actress-turned-politician Roja Selvamani is a popular face in the South film industry. She was one of the lead actresses in the Telugu and Tamil film industries from 1991 to 2002. After her successful stint as a lead heroine, she is now a renowned figure in the political arena and currently holds a position in YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s government. She is serving as Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Youth Advancement of Andhra Pradesh. She recently dominated the headlines after attending the inauguration ceremony of Mee Kadupuninda Telugu Vari Ruchulu. It is a restaurant which has been opened in Hyderabad. One of the most sought-after Telugu anchors, Sreevani and her husband Vikramadhithya Reddy have started this business venture.

Roja, while interacting with the media, said that we all know about Sreevani and her acting chops in serials. Roja also extended her best wishes to Vikramadhithya Reddy. “A lot of senior artists and actors are staying in Manikonda, so Mee Kadupuninda Restaurant has been opened to make it accessible to all who are in Manikonda. I wish them all the best,” Roja finished her short speech with these words. Thereafter, she entertained the audience by singing the song Aha Emi Ruchi Video Song from the movie Egire Paavurama. According to her, all kinds of veg and non-veg dishes cooked in Andhra style, and other Telugu delicacies are available here. She said that people in Andhra Pradesh should come to this restaurant at least once in their lifetime to relish these food items.

Roja also interacted with the media about her favourite non-veg dishes like Prawn Iguru, Crab Fry and Chapala Vepudu. Chapala Vepudu is a seafood delicacy that originates from Andhra Pradesh. Roja said that she has good culinary skills; she humorously added that her husband and children can vouch for it. Roja further said that she cooked during the COVID-19 lockdown, as she got a lot of free time back then after years. She used to share videos of her cooking skills on social media.

Roja said that she eats oats with apples and dry fruits in the morning, but prefers non-veg during lunchtime. She added that she prefers light dishes like idli and dosa at night.
