On Sunday, Naga Chaitanya shared a photo which featured Hash, a French Bulldog that he and Samantha welcomed when they were together. Since the news of Chaitanya and Samantha’s split, Hash was mostly spotted in Samantha’s Instagram posts, hinting that Samantha is taking car of the dog. However, on Sunday, Chaitanya revealed he was spending the weekend with Hash.
In the photo, Hash was seen seated in Chaitanya’s car and enjoying the sunset. He shared the photo with the caption, “Vibe.” While it seems like Samantha and Chaitanya are co-parenting their dogs, the photo opened the floodgate of speculations that Chaitanya and Samantha might have patched up.
Samantha and Naga Chaitanya separated in 2021. The actors shared joint statement confirming the news that they are parting ways. Earlier this year, Chaitanya confirmed that the divorce came through last year and they have been legally single for over a year now. He also said that he and Samantha have moved on since the split.
“Yes. It’s been more than two years since we separated and a year since we were formally divorced. The court has granted us a divorce. Both of us have moved on with our lives. I have tremendous respect for that phase of my life,” he told The Times of India. Praising her, Chaitanya added, “She is a lovely person and deserves all happiness.” The exes have not delved into the reason behind their split.
