Power Star Pawan Kalyan is currently highlighting his political responsibilities while juggling concurrent movie projects. The shooting for one of his Telugu films, OG, directed by Sujeeth, has been temporarily halted as the actor is right now busy with election-related duties.
Contrary to his recent political engagements, a rumour on social media suggests that Pawan Kalyan has greenlit another film, rumoured to be a remake. The latest speculation points towards a potential collaboration between Pawan and director Atlee, with Trivikram Srinivas stepping in as the producer. Although the information is yet to be verified, it has generated significant interest among fans.
Pawan Kalyan last year starred in a Telugu remake of the Tamil movie Vinodya Seetham, titled Bro. The film, directed by Samuthirakani, hit theatres on July 28, 2023. Following its theatrical run, it is now available for streaming on the popular OTT platform Netflix. Alongside the Telugu version, the movie is accessible in Hindi, Tamil and Kannada.
One of Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming projects is titled Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Notably, veteran actress Gautami is expected to play a significant role in the movie, portraying the character of Pawan Kalyan’s mother. The film also features Sreeleela and Sakshi Vaidya as the leading heroines, with music being composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
This film is set to be a Telugu adaptation of the Tamil movie Theri. Notably, there was a previous collaboration between Harish Shankar and Pawan Kalyan. During a phase of setbacks for Pawan Kalyan, the film Gabbar Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, emerged as a blockbuster. Fans eagerly await Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar’s upcoming project, anticipating another blockbuster success.
Originally named Bhavadiyudu Bhagat Singh, the film underwent a slight change to Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Drawing inspiration from Salman Khan’s Hindi movie Dabangg, it includes an entertaining Antyakshari episode to delight the audience.
Pawan Kalyan is also set to lead in the upcoming historical film Hari Hara Veera Mallu, directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. This pan-India project marks his debut as a warrior, generating significant anticipation. With about 65 per cent of the shooting already done, reports indicate that Pawan Kalyan will portray a diamond thief in the movie.
Nidhi Aggerwal is going to be the leading lady and musical maestro Keeravani will handle the soundtrack of Hari Hara Veera Mallu. It is produced by AM Ratnam under the Mega Surya Productions banner.
