8 held for murder of gangster

HYDERABAD: Two history-sheeters and six others were arrested for the murder of another history-sheeter, reportedly due to gang rivalry, by the police on Monday. One of the accused and the deceased were among the three history-sheeters who were externed by police.The history-sheeter of Amberpet police station, Shaik Mahamood alias Kalyani Mahamood, was murdered on May 24 at RTC quarters in Kacheguda. Police said Kalyani Mahamood was having rivalry with another gang led by another history-sheeter of Amberpet police, Shaik Mahamood alias Gora Mahamood."Both gangs were fighting for supremacy over one another," police said.
