"Once upon a time, there was a Bihari boy called Madhav. He fell in love with a girl called Riya. Madhav didn't speak English, Riya did. Madhav wanted a relationship, Riya didn't. Riya wanted friendship, Madhav didn't. Riya suggested a compromise. She agreed to be his half girlfriend."
If you wanted more reasons to wait for Chetan Bhagat's newest book, here's one. Filmmaker Mohit Suri is set to direct the on-screen adaptation of the book, confirmed Bhagat Sunday, on Twitter.
Suri, who's known for his films like 'Ek Villain', 'Kalyug' and 'Woh Lamhe', will start shooting for this film next year, after he finishes 'Humari Adhuri Kahani' and the remake of 'Intouchables'.
This will be Bhagat's sixth novel to be made into a film after '3 idiots' based on 'Five Point Someone', 'Hello' based on 'One Night @ The Call Centre', 'The Three Mistakes of My Life' as 'Kai Po Che', '2 States' based on '2 States: The Story of My Marriage' and a yet-untitled upcoming film based on 'Revolution 2020'.
