Did Akshay Kumar have a fight with his director? Did Percept have a problem releasing Will 8x10 Tasveer? Ashaayein finally release? We decided to get the answers of all of that and more from the man who'll know it best – Nagesh Kukunoor. Here's what he had to say…
Question: Hi Nagesh. So tell us something about Tasveer.
Nagesh Kukunoor: 8x10 Tasveer is a natural thriller. Akki's character in the film has some special powers…almost a psychic ability to look into the past of people from their picture. Like you have fortune tellers who can see and predict the future, this man can tell about one's past.
Question: Is your film finally releasing in multiplexes? Considering there's this ongoing fight between the multiplex owners and producers…
Nagesh Kukunoor: The film will be releasing in multiplexes.
Question: Ok, so tell us something about working with Akshay Kumar
Nagesh Kukunoor: Well…Akki is a no-nonsense actor. He is somebody who arrives on a given time, does his work and leaves. He is very clear about what he has to do. I enjoyed working with him.
Question: Then, what about all those rumours about you having a fight with Akshay?
Nagesh Kukunoor: They are all FALSE (with a lot of stress). 80 per cent of these gossips you keep hearing are blown out of proportion. You know these rumours are like Chinese whispers. Somebody says something and then it continues till the truth is completely blown out of proportions. And it becomes something else. In fact when this story came out, I was physically shooting with Akki.
Question: How was it working with Ayesha Takia after Dor?
Nagesh Kukunoor: She is a very nice actress. She is a director's girl. It was nice.
Question: Do you think her getting married will affect your film?
Nagesh Kukunoor: Do such things happen? Well, I'm oblivious to all these things anyway!

Question: And what about your film Aashayein with John Abraham? It's been delayed for quite some time now.
Nagesh Kukunoor: Yes. Aashayein has been delayed. Both John and I got really busy with other projects. But it will now be releasing soon.
Question: When?
Nagesh Kukunoor: It'll follow Tasveer. It is scheduled to release in June this year.
Question: Was there any problem with Percept? We heard that they did not want to release this film…
Nagesh Kukunoor: Absolutely no truth there. I have done three films with Percept. This is technically my fourth. I'm doing more films with them as well.
Question: OK. So do you think Tasveer will work?
Nagesh Kukunoor: Only time will tell. I will continue to make more films.
Question: So any plans of working with the Khans in the near future?
Nagesh Kukunoor: Who knows? If the opportunity presents itself, why not?
Question: Thank you Nagesh. And all the best for your film!
