New Delhi: A controversy has erupted over an Indian Air Force recruitment advertisement in which the picture of an American F18 fighter aircraft has been used. The F18 aircraft is not a part of the IAF fleet.
The image was used in the advertisement to inspire Indian youth to join IAF, sources said. The photo of the American fighter jet appears below the IAF insignia in the advertisement which appeared in several newspapers on Sunday.
IAF sources said the images were used since they were part of a mobile game launched by the Indian Air Force called Guardians of the Sky.
