Just days after the Centre signed a Naga peace accord, two NSCN(K) terrorists were on Thursday morning killed by Army personnel in Longse area of Nagaland.

The Army has intensified action against insurgent group NSCN(K) following the signing of peace accord between the Centre and another group NSCN(IM) on August 3.

The signing of accord had sparked a war of words between the Congress and the NDA government, with the former alleging that northeastern states were not kept in the loop on the deal.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi had also questioned the secrecy of the accord. Nagaland Chief Minister TR Zeliang, however, later said that he was kept in loop on the deal and knew of all the developments.
