Taking an exception to state BJP President's statements during her 'Suraj Sankalp Yatra', Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Friday alleged that Vasundhara Raje was playing a dangerous "regionalism game" over the public issues of energy and oil refinery.
"Vasundhara Raje is playing regionalism game on oil refinery and energy, which is dangerous," Gehlot said on his Sandesh Yatra tour to Alwar and Sikar route during public meetings.
"It is ridiculous and appears to be beyond understanding that former Chief Minister is inciting people of Barmer and Jaisalmer with regionalism factor and saying that they would not get benefit of oil refinery and power which are to be produced there", Gehlot said.
What ever power the state of Rajasthan was generating is going to national grids where it is pooled and distributed among states according to needs, he said, adding the regionalism matter ends at this point where every state is user and shares the burden.
While challenging the former Chief Minister, Gehlot said she (Raje) could compare the last five years of governance with her previous government.
Over corruption, Gehlot said the BJP leaders are crying foul every other day on baseless issues against the government. He also listed mass benefits of Food Security Bill (now ordinance) put up by the UPA government, saying it would be a milestone in Indian history.
