Bhopal: Accident victim dies as police secure the road for Madhya Pradesh CM
The accident victim lay unattended on road for more than 30 minutes and later succumbed to his injuries in Bhopal.

Bhopal: In a shocking incident a group of policemen ignored a youth laying in pool of blood - after he met with an accident - because they were busy in securing traffic for Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan's convoy and other VIPs.

The incident took place on Tuesday morning when a 22-year-old motorcyclist was hit by a speeding bus in front of Madhya Pradesh Assembly. Soon after the incident the bus driver managed to flee and no one came to his (victim) rescue.

Six traffic police officials who were present at the spot witnessed the accident but instead of taking him to hospital, they were reportedly seen busy in securing the traffic for Chief Minister's convoy.

There are allegations that the cops didn't allow the local people to take victim to a nearby health centre till Chief Minister's convoy entered the Madhya Pradesh Assembly.

He was moved from the middle of the road to the pavement because the traffic police around the Assembly were more concerned about CM's convoy.

The youth lay unattended on road for more than 30 minutes and later succumbed to his injuries due to excessive loss of blood and multiple injuries.

A departmental inquiry has been ordered in to the incident.
