Former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa on Thursday called on Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar at the latter’s home office Krishna. It was being said Yeddyurappa demanded Shettar to put pressure on the party high command to make him state BJP president.
Yeddyurappa also reportedly told Shettar that he would be forced to desert BJP if he was not made the state president. Prior to his meeting with Shettar, Yeddyurappa held an informal meeting with ministers of his camp. However, the sources in CM’s office said that Yeddyurappa’s meeting had nothing to do with his political ambitions
