Burglar electrocuted at Gachibowli

HYDERABAD: A person was electrocuted when he allegedly attempted to gain entry and rob a house by scaling its compound wall at Gachibowli on Sunday.  Raidurgam police said that D Ganesh, a 28-year-old driver, is suspected to have tried to enter the house of Raju Yadav, an electrician. But on the top of the compound wall of Yadav's house, a fence with electric power was arranged. "Ganesh tried to enter by first putting his head in but came in contact with the fence and got electrocuted. The death was instant," Raidurgam sub-inspector Suresh said.  When Yadav woke up in the morning, he found Ganesh's body lying near the compound wall. A shocked Yadav allegedly shifted the body on the road. Locals who later noticed the body, alerted the police who landed at Yadav's house following the marks that were created by dragging on the ground.
