Burp at Burgundys

CHENNAI: At the launch of the new restaurant Burgundys, Somerset Greenways satin Chanel gowns and sparkling stilettos were all one could see. A lush green garden that surrounds most of the restaurant, with a cute little park for kids and kutti fountains, added to the beauty of the place. Owned by Vipin Sachdev and the Rattha family, Burgundys is an all-day dining-cum-coffee shop. Former GM of The Park, VV Giri, and many other socialites came together to celebrate the launch of Burgundys. The restaurant will have open air dining arrangements but the owners aren’t too sure about having live music bands playing yet. However, despite the launch party and all the show on Saturday evening, the restaurant isn’t open for use yet. It is expected to begin after the launch of two other adjacent outlets, The Jadewok and The B Bar.The launch was a to-die-for evening with soothing music, amazing surrounding and beautiful people around sipping on tall wine and juice glasses.
