Hyderabad: A city court on Tuesday granted permission to the CB-CID for a two-day custodial interrogation of the two suspended.

Price Waterhouse Coopers(PWC) auditors, now in judicial custody, for allegedly helping Satyam founder B Ramalinga Raju to commit a financial fraud of over Rs 7800 crore.

Sixth Additional Metropolitan Judge D Ramakrishna, after hearing the arguments of the prosecuting officer and the Defence Counsel, allowed the CB-CID police, investigating the biggest corporate fraud of the country, to conduct custodial interrogation of the two auditors from 1000 hrs on Wednesday for two days.

The auditors, Subramani Gopala Krishnan and Talluri Srinivas, who have been auditing the company accounts since 2000, were arrested by police on January 24 after searches conducted by the CB-CID police.

The Magistrate deferred to February 6, the hearing of the bail petition of former SRSR Advisory Services General Manager V Gopalakrishna Raju, who had managed the Raju family's stake in Satyam and was the fourth accused in the case.

The bail petitions of Ramalinga Raju, his brother and former Managing Director B Rama Raju and former Chief Financial Officer V Srinivas would also come up for hearing on that day as well as the petition filed by the Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) to question the trio.
