BANGALORE: The sleuths of the Fraud and Misappropriation squad of the Central Crime Branch (CCB) arrested a person who printed and sold pirated copies of bestseller books. 6,500 pirated copies worth Rs 25 lakh was recovered from him.The accused Umar Farooq, 31, is a resident of Shivajinagar.The police said that based on a tip off, they raided Umar’s house and found pirated copies of bestsellers such as: 'The evolution of a corporate brand', 'You can win', 'Twilight', 'Not without my Daughter', 'Kite Runner', 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows', 'The Secret', 'Super Power' and others.Low quality papers were used for printing. A case is registered in Commercial Street police station.
