New Delhi: After months of speculations, it seems actress Chitrangada Singh and golfer Jyoti Randhawa have officially got divorced. According to media reports, the couple had applied for a divorce in 2013 at a Gurgaon court and have been granted one now.
The marriage had been seeing turbulent times for a while and there had been rumours of the couple being separated for almost a year. Chitrangada had earlier refuted the news and insisted that she was still together with Randhawa.
Sources state that trouble began when Chitrangada shifted to Mumbai to pursue a career in films while Randhawa stayed back in Delhi. Chitrangada used to shuttle between the two cities to spend time with her son, five-year-old Zorawar and Jyoti. The couple who got married in 2001 have known each other since childhood.
Chitrangada, who made her debut in Sudhir Mishra's 'Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi', has got the custody of her son. Chitrangda is currently working on a Tamil film 'Anjaan', where she will be seen doing a cameo.
