New Delhi: Indian shooters Gagan Narang and Imran Hassan Khan won the gold in men's 50 metre rifle 3 positions at the Commonwealth Games here on Friday.
Imran finished with a total of 1158 - 395 in prone, 381 in standing and 382 in kneeling. His partner Gagan Narang too continued his good form and finished with a total of 1167.
Their combined score of 2325 was enough to break the Games' record, which stood at 2300 out of 2400.
The silver was bagged by England while Scotland took home the bronze medal.
With this, Gagan Narang - who is now being hailed as India's 'Goldfinger' - has three gold to his credit, with the other two coming in 10m air rifle pairs with Abhinav Bindra and 10m air rifle individual events.
