New Delhi: The Delhi Police Special Investigating Team (SIT) has planned to expand the probe into the Sunanda Pushkar death case.

According to sources, Delhi Police has decided to question doctors who examined Sunanda at the KIMS hospital in Thiruvananthapuram.

Sunanda Pushkar was undergoing treatment at KIMS hospital before she came to the national capital where she was found dead in a hotel in 2014.

A final report submitted by AIIMS in January had said that Sunanda died of unnatural cause.

The Delhi Police has intensified the investigation into the mysterious death of Sunanda Pushkar. Three days back, a team of investigators had visited medicine shops in Lodhi Road area of national capital to inquire what medicines (if at all) were bought for Sunanda during her stay at a plush Delhi hotel, where she was found dead on January 17, 2014.

It was also learnt that Tharoor's family driver Bajrangi, personal staff Narayan singh and family friends were re-examined by the officers to know the possible suspect in the case.
