KOLLAM: It is a dream come true for Shammi, when he bagged the second rank in the medical entrance examination. Shammi of Shammi Manzil, Akkaravila Nagar, Vadakkevila here, was expecting a top rank in the medical entrance exam, for which he was trying for the past two years. Shammi, son of Nazarudeen, a businessman and Rajina, was a student of S N Trust Central School, here, where he was the school topper in both the SSLC and Plus-II examinations. In the SSLC examination, he secured 96.4 per cent marks while he secured 95.4 per cent in the Plus-II examination. Shammi told Express that from childhood itself, he was dreaming of becoming a doctor. However, he appeared for the engineering entrance examination also. Though he is awaiting the all-India medical entrance examination results, he prefers to study at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. He said that he was dedicating his success to god, his parents, relatives, and teachers of an entrance coaching centre in Pala.His brothers, Shoufi and Sharukh, are studying in Standard X and VII respectively, at S N Trust Central School.
