BANGALORE: In a scathing attack on Governor H R Bharadwaj, state BJP president K S Eshwarappa has advised the former to become Opposition leader in the state legislative council if he was so interested in taking on the state BJP government.Eshwarappa’s attack was triggered by the Governor’s claim that he discussed about allegations against Forest Minister C P Yogeshwar during his recent meeting with CM D V Sadananda Gowda. However, the CM had refuted the claim stating that the topic never figured in the discussion. The Governor has been troubling the state government and his conduct has always been that of an Opposition leader. He has clearly exceeded his limits, Eshwarappa said stating that he would lodge a complaint with the President on the conduct of the Governor enlisting previous instances. If he (the Governor) thinks that the Opposition parties are not working effectively, let him get elected to the council from the Congress party and become the Opposition leader, he added.
