At least six persons, including four children, were killed as torrential rains lashed most parts of the state since Monday night.

The heavy rains also snapped electric wires in some places.
Two sisters were electrocuted in one such incident at Kasimkota in Visakhapatnam district.
Another girl reportedly fell into an overflowing drainage canal at Satrampadu in Eluru of West Godavari district.
In Pakala in Chittoor district, a wall collapse claimed a woman’s life and injured two others.
In a similar incident, three women were severely injured at Siricilla.
Lightening took the life of 60-year-old Rangam Shankaraiah when he was in an agricultural field at Kothapeta in Velgatur mandal of Karimnagar district.
Apart from deaths, the downpour forced around 40 families residing in Nallajerla of West Godavari district to shift to rescue shelters.
District officials have been kept on alert and have been asked to take measures to shift people stranded in low-lying areas.
In Prakasam district, connectivity to villages of Yerragondapalem and surrounding areas was lost due to overflowing Nalleru stream.
In Warangal, around 1,200 acres of crop got submerged at Parkal, Chintapalli and other neighbouring areas.
Connectivity to about 10 villages was cut off due to the overflow of Morancha stream at Bhoopalapalli.
In Karimnagar district, where paddy cultivation was recorded as highest in the state, thousands of acres got submerged in rain water leaving farmers in distress.
About 7,000 hectares got inundated in the last two days in East Godavari district alone.
