The match between Mahindra United and Mohammedan Sporting did not much goalmouth action for most of the duration.

All the three goals of the match were scored in the final stages of the match with the first goal coming in in the 86th minute.

Mahindra took the lead when striker Manjeet Singh scored the first goal but Habibur Rahman Mondal of Mohammedan Sporting equalised a few seconds later.

But in the dying moments of the injury time Mahindra's Yousif Yakubu scored the decisive goal of the match to take his team into the semis.

Mahindra gave a better display in the second half though in the first half Mohammedan had more ball possession and territorial advantage.

The other match between the two Goa clubs was decided in the extra-time when Nicholas Rodrigues scored the all-important goal from a free kick in the 102nd minute.

Salgaocar were the better team on view in the first half, but Sporting bounced back after half-time and had Salgaocar on the back foot.

The tough match saw players of both sides losing the cool and the worst came when Sporting's Bello Rassq hit Salgaocar's Felix in the eye during a pushing bout.
