The film is a good opportunity for Shreyas Talpade to showcase his talent as the solo hero of the film.

New Delhi: It seems Paresh Rawal is going to be the most seen man of this week. His two films are releasing simultaneously. Rawal's 'Oh My God' is releasing with 'Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal', though he is not in the lead role in 'Kamal Dhamaal Malamaal'.

At the first glance, 'Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal' appears as another Priyadarshan film with 'comedy of errors' as the core theme.

The film is a remake of hit Malayalam film ‘Marykkundoru Kunjaadu’. ‘KDM’ features Shreyas Talpade at the helm of affairs who is afraid of almost everything under the sun. Om Puri will be seen as Shreyas Talpade’s father. Om Puri is a local farmer and wants Shreyas to help him in his endeavours.

Despite being a terrified soul, Talpade is romantic at heart, and is in love with his village’s biggest goon Paresh Rawal. Madhurima is playing the role of Paresh Rawal’s daughter. Rawal is ready to go to any extent to ensure that Madhurima couldn’t meet Talpade. However, things take a dramatic turn when Nana Patekar enters the scene.

The film is a good opportunity for Shreyas Talpade to showcase his talent as the solo hero of the film. Though Nana Patekar's presence in the film is capable of taking shine from other actors' performances, still Talpade would be hoping for some critical acclaim.

Talpade's character in 'Joker' was also appreciated, however film's bad run at the box office ruined his chances of emerging as a good actor.

Nana Patekar keeps experimenting with his characters and thus the audiences would be hoping to see him in a never seen before role.

But more than anyone else, 'Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal' is important for Priyadarshan who has not given a commercially successful film in last four years.
