Fun trip turns fatal, 3 die

BANGALORE: Weekend fun turned fatal for three workers after they drowned in the Manchanabele dam in Tavarekere police station limits on Sunday. The trio hail from Ahmed Nagar in Nayandahalli.The deceased have been identified as Adith (19), Nisar (22) and Ayaj (20). They had gone to Manchanabele dam with their friends Akbar, Nadeem, Mubarak, Tabriz and Ashid. They all work in garages and welding workshops. The police said that they had gone in a bus on a picnic. They left home early morning and after having lunch, they  got into the dam for            swimming. Meanwhile,Adith, Nisar and Ajay went in the middle of the dam, where they got stuck in the silt and drowned. Their friends, who were watching this, were not able to save them. They immediately called the locals, who informed the matter to fire officials. The officials rushed to the spot at around 4 pm and started the search.Tavarekere police have registered a case and they are further investigating in this regard.
