BHUBANESWAR: The Ganjam district administration and Rashmirekha Sahu of Sundargarh have been awarded on the International Day for People with Disability. The Ganjam district administration has been awarded as the best district in the country for its rehabilitation measures for persons with disabilities. Rashmirekha has been awarded with the best creative female with disability award. Lauding Rashmirekha for her commitment and strong willpower, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik hoped that she would be a source of inspiration for others. Naveen announced a reward of ` 1 lakh on behalf of the State Government for her. The Chief Minister also congratulated the employees of the district rehabilitation centre in Ganjam. The single window concept for providing all assistance to persons with disabilities had started in Ganjam district. Now this is being implemented in all districts.
