Govt schemes need more publicity

HYDERABAD: Commissioner of Information and Public Relations Department RV Chandravadan on Tuesday exhorted media professionals of state and Central government departments to disseminate information about the welfare programmes being implemented by the government.Speaking at a Inter Media Publicity Coordination Committee meeting at Samachar Bhavan here, he said several important programmes like Right to Education and Right to Information need to be further highlighted during the publicity campaigns for better results. The meeting was attended by Doordarshan, All-India Radio, DAVP, field publicity and media representatives of the government departments.
