BANGALORE: The High Court on Friday rejected the affidavit submitted by the state government regarding the action taken relating to the nonissue of summons to Tourism Minister G Janardhan Reddy and B Sriramulu in connection with several cases
It has directed the Home Secretary to conduct a fresh inquiry and file a fresh affidavit within six weeks.The division bench headed by Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice H G Ramesh rebuked at the state government over the inaction, saying, "You have made the judiciary a laughing strock. Everyone, including DG and IGP, is responsible for this; DG sat there all the time, but you have not implemented the summons for 35 times."
