India pull off dramatic win over Croatia

New Delhi: India's dream run at the Hopman Cup continued as the pair of Sania Mirza and Rohan Bopanna pulled off a dramatic 2-1 victory over Croatia in their second tie at Perth on Wednesday.

Sania Mirza got India off to a great start by beating Sanja Ancic in straight sets 6-2, 6-3. Sania's win was followed by Rohan Bopanna who fought bravely against Mario Ancic before going down 7-6, 7-6.

In the mixed doubles, the Indians won a thriller against the Ancic siblings, coming back from a set down to win 3-6, 6-3, 7-6.

India now have a great chance to qualify for the semi-final from group B.
