New Delhi: The specifications that went into what we once considered to be a mid-level smartphone are now available in entry level phones at prices that not too long ago could buy only a feature phone.

Indian electronics brand Intex has announced the launch of its 3.5-inch Intex Cloud X3 with a MediaTek MT6572 chip housing a Cortex A7 1GHz dual-core processor at Rs 3,790.

The dual-SIM Android 4.2 Jelly Bean phone comes with a 1450 mAh battery, 2 megapixel rear and VGA front camera. The Intex Cloud X3 has an internal memory of 115MB and supports microSD cards of upto 32GB.

The phone is available in black and white colour options. The Intex Cloud X3 also includes WiFi, GPS, FM and Bluetooth functions.

The MediaTek MT6572 is the world's first dual-core SoC (system on a chip) with integrated WiFi, FM, GPS and Bluetooth functions and is targeted at the entry segment of smartphones.
