HYDERABAD: In the wake of Telangana Private Junior College Management's Association's demand for postponement of introduction of jumbling system in practical examinations in Intermediate by a year, the Government Junior College Lecturers Association (GJCLA) has demanded removal of weightage to practical examination marks in Eamcet in such a case.Speaking to Express, GJCLA general secretary P Madhusudan Reddy said the government had been postponing introduction of the jumbling system for four years under pressure from corporate colleges.In 2008 the government introduced weightage to Intermediate marks in Eamcet following the recommendations of the P Dayaratnam Committee, but has been postponing jumbling system in practical examinations. Second-year MPC candidates will have 60 marks in practicals, 30 each in chemistry and physics; and BiPC candidates will have 120 marks, 30 each in chemistry, physics, botany and zoology.
