KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Friday sought the stand of the Trivandrum Golf Club on the implementation of the government order to change the present system of its management.A division bench comprising Justice K M Joseph and Justice A M Shaffique issued the order on a petition filed by Revenue Department Under Secretary T V Vijaya Kumar, seeking permission to implement the government order.A division bench had earlier said that if the government proposed any change in the present set up of the management, then it should be intimated to the High Court and no change should be brought about without obtaining permission. The government order includes granting permission to the public who are interested in playing golf on payment of a reasonable fee fixed by the committee constituted by the state. The state submitted that by implement ing the order, the members of the golf club who are actually playing golf will not be affected. And the government will be in a position to ensure that the golf course is run in an efficient manner.
