J&K: Pakistani troops violate ceasefire in Poonch, target 4 Indian posts
Pakistan has violated to the ceasefire several times in October.

Poonch: After two nights of peace, Pakistani troops violated ceasefire along the Line of Control on Saturday in Shahpur sector of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir and targeted four Indian posts. Indian soldiers fired in retaliation to the unprovoked firing by Pakistani troops.

Pakistan has violated to the ceasefire several times in October.

Pakistani troops had earlier resorted to mortar shelling beyond the international border. Villagers have been advised to stay indoors and the state administration has provided buses to evacuate border villagers to safer places.

Seven Indians have died so far and more than 50 have been injured in the border firing.

In the exchange of fire, 33 pople have been killed in border villages in Pakistan. The casualties include 8 Pakistani Rangers soldiers.
