Srinagar: One terrorist was killed in an encounter in Kupwara as the Indian army foiled an infiltration bid near the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran sector of Jammu and Kashmir.

The incident comes after two months after an attack on the Air Force base in Pathankot in Punjab on January 2. Seven security personnel and six terrorists had been killed in the attack.
