Samba: In a heartwarming story, a group of friends have adopted a school in Jammu's Samba district and have pledged to work for its development. These friends were part of a WhatsApp group started by a local journalist.

Recalling how the decision was taken, a group member said, "All the members thought of doing something big and then we decided to adopt the school in a village in Samba district."
The school administration has lauded the support received by the group members.
A school teacher said, "We have 55 students in the school and it was becoming very difficult to run it. I am very thankful to the group for adopting it."
