BANGALORE: Former chairman of Karnataka Bar Council Sadashiv Reddy on Tuesday said that the Advocates Associaton of Kolar and some of the advocates from Bangalore have resolved to protest in front of the High Court on July 7 as the court has failed to take action against the presiding officer of the KGF Fast Track Court K N Lakshminarayana for being biased, showing favouritism, using unparliamentary words and misbehaving with the advocates.
Reddy alleged that the presiding officer would encourage woman advocates to visit his chamber frequently and asked the litigants to change advocates by getting no objection certificates besides giving favourable orders, including granting bails when the applications were filed through a specific advocate called K A Khan.Reddy said, "He has granted bail when applied through Khan while denying bail when approached through a different advocate. We had brought this to the notice of the Chief Justice and nothing has happened. "
