New Delhi: A total lunar eclipse on Tuesday will be the last eclipse of 2010. The eclipse will however not be visible in India.
The winter solstice will coincide with total lunar eclipse after 372 years.
Though the eclipse will happen during day time in India, sky gazers in other parts of the world will see the full moon turning into beautiful shade of coppery-red.
The eclipse, a rare event, will begin 10.58 am and after passing through various phases, will end at 4.36 pm.
The eclipse will be visible in the region covering Europe, West Africa, America, the Pacific Ocean, eastern Australia, the Philippines and eastern and northern Asia.
