Man attacks sister for money

HYDERABAD: A woman was attacked by her brother in LB Nagar on Tuesday, as she refused to give him money for liquor. According to police, the victim M Shobha (23), visited her mother at NTR Nagar in LB Nagar on Tuesday. While she was having a chat with her mother, her brother, Siddulu, came into the house. He asked Shobha for money to buy alcohol. Shobha refused to give him money and asked him to mend his ways and look for a job to earn his livelihood. Enraged by this, Siddulu picked up a stone and hit Shobha on the head. He also attacked her with a knife, injuring her.According to reports, locals thrashed Siddulu for attacking his sister.
