KOCHI: The Kerala High Court on Monday awarded four years imprisonment and Rs 1 lakh fine to the accused in a case related to illegal transportation of spirit.Lorry driver Ganesan of Tamil Nadu and cleaner Arunadas were nabbed by the police after a chase. The driver did not stop the vehicle though the police blocked it at Kanjikode.The Palakkad Additional Sessions Court had found the accused guilty.
