Mumbai is likely to see moderate to heavy rain in the city and suburbs, with heavy rain in neighbouring Thane and central Maharashtra on Monday (July 29), according to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) forecast. Moderate rain is likely in Palghar and heavy rain in Raigad and Ratnagiri on Monday. The IMD has issued an orange alert for Gujarat Region on July 29 and Konkan, Goa and central Maharashtra on August 1.
