New Delhi: Ever since the budget Moto G launched in the Indian market in early February, there was growing curiosity about if and when Motorola's flagship phone - the Moto X will arrive in India. Some of the speculations were first laid to rest by Motorola in a 26 February tweet saying that the Moto X would launch in India in "the next few weeks."
As expected, the Moto X is taking the same Flipkart route to Indian consumers. In a tweet posted late on March 12, Flipkart confirmed that the Moto X would soon be available on the ecommerce site. "The Moto X is coming soon... stay tuned for exclusive launch day offers!," Flipkart announced in the tweet.
One of the highlights of the Moto X, the Moto Maker that allows users to customise their phones is unlikely to be available in India soon. Motorola has announced plans for Moto Maker in western Europe and Mexico but has nothing to say about India.
