Indore: Madhya Pradesh Lokayukta has recovered documents related to assets worth Rs 2 crore during a raid at the residence of an Assistant Excise Commissioner. The raid was carried out of the residence of Assistant Excise Commissioner Jagdish Rathi in Indore on Tuesday.
During the raid officials recovered property documents related to a farm house, a flat, three shops and several plots. The total worth of all the assets is almost Rs 2 crore.
Rathi had been raided 13 years ago too before Madhya Pradesh was divided and Chhattisgarh created. Rathi had been acquitted by the court in that case.
Rathi had been reinstated just three years back.
