The top focus for Williams driver Pastor Maldonado at the Hungarian Grand Prix would be getting on top of the Pirelli's new and changed tyres.
At the recent Young Driver Test at Silverstone, the drivers were able to complete their first miles on the new rubber which Pirelli introduced to counter the tyre blow-outs at British Grand Prix.
However, Maldonado got a basic understanding during the Silverstone test, but can't be conclusive until the first practice in Hungary.
"There will be new tyres from Pirelli this weekend that combine last year's construction with this year's compounds, so understanding how these perform will be a primary focus for the teams as we prepare for this race," 28-year-old Maldonado said.
"Testing these tyres at Silverstone has given me an insight into the changes made, but it will only be after practice on Friday that can we sit down and analyse all the data and discuss our strategy for the weekend."
Williams have failed to record a point from the first nine races, leaving the team just ahead of Marussia and Caterham at the bottom of the Constructors' standings.
