A hoarding at the famous Ullal beach in Mangaluru, Karnataka is gaining attention among the locals for its cryptic messages on a hoarding. As per an exclusive report by News18, the message is asking the visitors to avoid venturing out into the sea after dark.
One of the main attractions in Dakshina Kannada, Karnataka is the dargah of Ullal Sayyid Madani. After worshipping at the sacred place, people usually visit the Ullal beach, another popular attraction of the area. The devotees as well as other visitors go to the place in huge numbers. However, as per the reports, incidents involving deaths have been reported in the area.
Local18 reported that a hoarding was installed on the beach, which carries a warning claiming that the sea is marked by “evil forces”. So, the visitors are asked to not go to the beach after the maghrib time (evening). The hoarding states that so far two fatalities in the last three months have occurred and believe that the “evil forces” in the area are behind the deaths. Therefore, people, especially children, are asked to avoid the beach after dark. Furthermore, they have been advised to leave the seaside as soon as they can, when it starts to get dark.
The hoarding also contains the images of the deceased. As per reports, an image of an obscure-looking person is included in the hoarding. It is going viral with the claim that it is the “ghost” captured on the camera, the one terrorising the locals.
More reports state that these fatalities have occurred all across the coast and not only in the Ullal Beach area. Several tourists have lost their lives due to drowning. However, some say that the whole “evil forces” story is an attempt to keep the tourists safe, being spread by the locals.
