Hyderabad: The committee formed to decide on which city will be the capital of Andhra Pradesh has recommended against making a rushed decision. The Shivram Krishna Committee in its report to the Home Ministry has recommended that Guntur, Vijaywada and Machlipatnam shouldn't be the capital.
The committee also recommends against making Vizag the capital in a passing reference. Hyderabad is the shared capital of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next ten years.
After ten years, Hyderabad will go to Telangana.
