TIRUCHY: AIADMK candidate for Tiruchy West by-poll, M Paranjothi filed his nomination with the Returning Officer Sampath here on Wednesday. The filing of nominations for the Tiruchy West by-poll, which is scheduled for Oct ober 13, commenced on September 19. Paranjothi, who arrived at the Office of the Returning Officer along with Minister for Animal Husbandry and District Secretary N R Sivapathi, MLA and Urban District Secretary R Manoharan, MP P Kumar and Branch Secretary Naganathar Pandi around 11.10 am, filed his nomination with the Returning Officer Sampath. The AIADMK candidate in his affidavit has said that he has property both movable and immovable worth `84.33 lakh, including the property of his wife Parameswari, daughter Mathumitha and son Alagan. He has borrowed a loan of `7.12 lakh. There are four cases pending against him in Kulithalai Judicial Magistrate Court and four at Lalgudi Session court. District Deputy Secretary V Arul Jothi filed his papers as dummy candidate.
